I remember when the sunlight had a special kind of brightness

There are so many great events going on right now, my head is spinning. Nothing beats Hair Fair. I feel like a kid in a candy store. I bought so many hairs, but I don’t want to compile them in one post, I want to pick an outfit for each, so it will take me some time to show all the ones I got! This hair is from [ATOMIC], and it’s perfect. I really love everything about the style. I don’t have many Atomic hairs, and I was trying my best to check out stores I don’t buy hair from often. There is some serious talent this year, and I am sure I will being stopping back in once or twice before the fair ends, there is still few demos I have my eye on!

If you haven’t heard [you are living under a rock] Designer’s United 4 is going on, and it’s another amazing event with the best talent in SL. I don’t know where to begin. My top and leggings are both from Kyoot, and of course it is beautiful! Saeya, also made a gown which is jaw-dropping. I hope I get a chance to blog it this week. Now on to pictures!

Let’s pretend like it’s ’98

*sighs* ’98 was a good year! I am feeling old today. Between work, kids, taking care of the house and balancing SL and RL friends, it gets exhausting. When I get like this, I like to think back to 1998. When my only worries in life were how I was going to afford a pack of cigarettes and where we were going to party Friday night. *sighs again* My outfit reminds me of something I would wear back then. If I tried to wear something like this now, I would just look like I was trying too hard/ridiculous! LOL

My hoodie is from [ATOMIC], It’s great because you can match it with just about anything. These pants are new from !mPS! and I am in love, as usual. I love that place, and I am sure I have said that before. If you haven’t been you should get going! My top is from (Medley) and I love the color and texture so very muches!! Good Morning!!! So SL was fail last night, and as of right now there are only 12000 people online, so I guess it’s not fixed yet! LOL I am not one to bitch about SL being down, it’s computer based this will happen. Buuuuuut when I have work to do, it grrrrrrs me!!! Apparently my picture size messed up last night too, so these pics are kinda suck! sadface.

Anywho, let’s talk clothes!! My tank and hair are new are from *Action. This top is really for boys, but I just edited it to fit me, and it works fantabulous! I really liked this hair, although I am not often a fan of any hair that goes through my chest. I haaaate that, and will always edit my hair shorter. Sadly you can not edit individual pieces of Action’s hair, which is saddening. But, I am learning to work the resizer scripts a little better, and can finally move stuff around, but it’s just so much nicer to be able to unlink and adjust for my face shape. My skirt is old old old from !BF!, and I will always love it!!!

p.s. you can’t see my flip flops, but they are my staple summer shoes in RL & SL. They are from Surf Couture, and I pretty much wear them all the time.

Craptacular sl tonight! Nothing was rezzing, kept lagging, crashing, going nutsss but i finally got two(three) pictures out of it! :D Of course my second picture if you look at my legs and feet holy crap they look sucky so I retook a third picture to show off the awesomeness of the shoes OH AND THE AMAZINGGGGG GLOVES FROM ADDICT! do you see them? The lost hour

Last night we turned our clocks ahead, so we lost an hour. Just gone, never to be seen again. I do wonder where it went. The one awesome thing about the jump ahead, is that it was still daylight at 6:00pm. I am ready for summer ALMOST as much as I am ready for bed right now.

Since I am so very sleepy I will get to it. I’m way tired, but I figured I would post my outfit before bed and get it out of the way. I was feeling rather beachy today, possibly because of the fabulous shirt and sunglasses from Surf Co for 50L Friday (Gotta loveee it!). These Nayar capris are one of my favorites but I haven’t felt like I could wear them in awhile but I thought they fitted perfectly for this look. Naturally I put on this tattoo from Luck Inc. as well being that it’s the tattoo I wore during the summer on sl and it just has an awesome beachy feel to it but and is one of my favorite tattoos I own.

It took me quite a bit during the day to find a hair that’d fit nicely, going through ranges of different styles before I went to RezIpsa Loc and found this hair I have on. It is sooooo cute and looking back at my pictures I don’t think I showed it off well enough! And I also hate my second picture I did the more and more I look at it. grrrr. you would not believe your eyes

So I was going through my inventory and found all my ollld Canimal stuff which made me go ‘awww’ as back in my noob days I was just in LOVE with that store. I’m pretty certain I bought out the entire store and wore it constantly and all the damn time! But then Canimal slowed in making new items till there wasn’t any updates at all. :( I really hope one day she comes back and starts making awesome items again! I decided to wear something from her store and I had seen I had the skellyflies. Being that I haven’t worn them at all since buying them I figured I should try and use them now! So there are the sole reason this outfit was put together today.

So now the next step was finding something a little bright but dark at the same time. Naturally I went to the Plastik who is one of my favorite stores on the grid and put on this strappy corset type thing (I know I have a way with words. <3). But I didn't really want my boobies hanging out and I started looking through my dresses folder thinking of what to put under it and I came across the mini lace dress from Inimitably Design. I really like the design of the dress so I tested it with the Plastik top and if you asked me I thought they looked real nice together! And since it was lace It gave me an excuse to put on the Atomic Amour Heels that I wear FAR too much but what can I say, a good shoe is a good shoe!

As for the rest, these items are actually all things I naturally go for. The collar from Hat Mechanic from my Maus set is something I like to wear when I dress like this because it just seems to fit so perfectly! I really think I need to invest in buying a regular one from her at some point as I had seen she released some awhile ago just by themselves and just haven’t gotten to it yet! These cuffs from Hermony are also something I put on whenever I dress smexy, tough or fantasy-ish so naturally they were put on along with these stockings from *Sheer*. *Sheer* has SOOOOO many different styles of stockings, by the way. They have different styles of the stockings and then under it will have different variants of the stocking such as different rips or whatever, each costing 200L. Plus they’re wonderfully made!

After finally dressing myself, I needed a sim to take the pictures in so I started looking around trying to find that perrrfect sim that’d fit my outfit and I found it in Wasted Night’s Bentham Forest. It has a spooky feel to it (probably because it’s said to be haunted :o) and just oooooooooh so beautiful! It has lights, fireflies and an overall dark feeling to it. I found a spot to take pictures in and started messing around with my windlight settings to get the perfect look to the pictures I was about to take and then crashed about a million times trying to get my graphic settings higher. :( lmao But it was worth it!
